iLoveAHS Walk

The 3rd iLoveAHS Walk 2014 was successfully held in the morning on 14 March 2015. This year is significant as we have invited one of our important partners, the Public Utilities Board, to join us in the iLoveAHS Walk. 14th March is World Water Day and it was commemorated together with the walk and carnival. The theme for the year, ‘Water and Sustainable Development’ is an important reminder that we need to Value, Conserve before Enjoying the fresh clean water daily.

The event was well-attended by students and staff of Anglican High School, as well as parents, alumni and partners of the school. Parents and partners of Anglican High joined the Secondary One students for the walking route. It was a great sight to see parents, partners, students and teachers walking together as it typifies the educational philosophy that it takes a whole village to educate a child. Many complimented that the event was well organised and they reflected that they are very happy to be part of this event. The funds raised for this event through the sale of an exclusive iLoveAHS Walk T-shirt will go towards the School Improvement Fund. The Fund will benefit students themselves as the funds are meant to help to improve school programmes and facilities for students. We will look forward to the iLoveAHS Walk again in 2016 as we celebrate our 60th anniversary!
