Eco Kepalas Project

As part of the school's initiative to promote a spirit of innovation and creativity among the student population, two students from each class were appointed as InnoChamps. Through the use of Design Thinking, this group of InnoChamps tried actively to brainstorm and solve problems which will benefit the student population.

A group of Secondary one students comprising of Clarice Ang (Sec 1C), Tiu Shin (Sec 1D), Mattheus Cheong (Sec 1F), Ho Wei Zhi (Sec 1F) and Maegan Lim (Sec 1H) came together and took part in the Eco Kepalas Project in an attempt to look at innovative ways to promote recycling efforts within the classroom environment. As part of the project requirement, the team carried out extensive researches and came up with a recycling bin prototype for use in the classrooms. This innovative recycling bin aims to promote and cultivate correct habits in the students in the use of 3Rs in their lives: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
