AHS students are self-directed learners with a strong set of bicultural competencies in the Western & Chinese cultures. AHS students are purpose-driven and pursue excellence in all that they do. AHS students are principled servant leaders with a heart for people.
AHS students are critical thinkers.  AHS students set high goals and aspire to be the best that they can be. AHS students are good role-models of school values. 
AHS students are effectively bilingual (in English and Chinese) and have global awareness and cross-cultural skills.  AHS students pursue social, physical and aesthetic development. AHS students demonstrate qualities of a servant leader and are good team players.
 AHS students are self-directed learners. AHS students excel in at least one CCA.  AHS students are loyal and compassionate citizens who actively serve the school, community and nation.
