华文语文特选课程

为了栽培精通双语的人才，提高学生的华文水平和文学素养，教育部在2020年开办中学华文语文特选课程（简称中学语特）。圣中获选为第一批开办中学语特课程的九所学校之一。2021年，我校首批华文语文特选课程的20位学生荣获教育部颁发的证书！

语特学生积极参与教育部组织的各项活动、讲座以及本校课程，如学生营、亚洲青年论坛、观摩戏剧等活动，并参加我校《竹音》报社和广播站的活动。“竹音”校报一年三期，面向全校学生，聚焦圣中校园，报道校园文化、校园新闻，刊登本校学生作品。广播站的学生录制、编辑、配乐，利用每日晨会前播音，内容包括课内外的经典名篇、剧作、时事评论。他们为营造、传承校园文化做出了贡献，对提升学生的华文水平也起到了积极的作用。

Anglican High School is honoured to be selected as one of the first batch of 9 schools in Singapore to offer the Chinese Language Elective Programme at Secondary Level (CLEP-Sec). Introduced by the Ministry of Education in 2020, CLEP-Sec aims to nurture promising students to attain a high level of language proficiency in Chinese and to enhance their understanding of Chinese literature.

Our first batch of 20 Secondary Four Chinese Language Elective Programme (CLEP) students recently received their Certificates of Accomplishment from the Ministry of Education! These students actively participate in various activities organised by MOE, such as student camps, the Asian Youth Forum, as well as school-based publication and broadcasting activities. Put together by the CLEP students, the 《竹音》newsletter is published three times a year, with a focus on school life, and works by students. CLEP students are also involved in the recording, editing and broadcasting of classic essay recitals, plays and current affairs at Studio Arden. Their contributions have formed an important part of our school’s efforts in promoting the Chinese language and culture.

“语特最让我难忘的活动是语特营，其中有一位老师的讲座让我记忆犹新。他不是在电脑前通过屏幕讲座，而是现场直播，通过Zoom带领我们走街串巷，让我们看到弥漫文化气息的街道，一家塞满八九十年代老物件的杂货店，还有他琳琅满目的私藏，让我对新加坡的历史文化有了更深刻的认识，也深深感受到老师们的良苦用心。”
