iLoveAHS Walk 2014

The 2nd iLoveAHS Walk 2014 was successfully held in the morning on 15 March 2014. The event was well-attended by students and staff of Anglican High School, as well as parents, alumni and partners of the school. Our Principal, Mdm Maureen Lee, started the event by presenting the values flags to the Year Heads of the respective levels as well as to the representatives of the Parent Support Group (PSG) and Alumni association. Students of all four levels, led by their respective Year heads, completed different routes assigned. They were proudly decked in their exclusive brightly-coloured event T-shirts and the strong school spirit was very evident as all walked together through the neighbourhood in one accord.

Parents and partners of Anglican High joined the Secondary One students for the walking route. It was a great sight to see parents, partners, students and teachers walking together as it typifies the educational philosophy that it takes a whole village to educate a child. Many complimented that the event was well organised and they reflected that they are very happy to be part of this event. The funds raised for this event through the sale of an exclusive iLoveAHS Walk T-shirt will go towards charity and the AHS Student Development Fund. The student Development Fund will benefit students themselves as the funds are meant to help to improve school programmes for students. We will look forward to the iLoveAHS Walk again in 2015!
