Founder's Day

Anglican High School celebrated its 60th Founder’s Day on Friday, 20 May 2016. The ceremony, themed Soaring as One, was graced by Bishop Low Jee King, Assistant Bishop, Diocese of Singapore.  Bishop Low is also the Chaplain of Anglican High School. The 60th Founder’s Day started off with a video montage featuring the 60th Anniversary Celebrations which includes the 60 Acts of Gratitude, iLOVE AHS Walk, AHS Record Breaking, Homecoming Carnival and Chrysalis Musical. Amidst the prize presentations, the audience was entertained by the AHS Harmonica Orchestra and Wushu. 

Besides our current students who received recognition for their outstanding performance in academic and other areas, we also presented prizes to our outstanding 2015 alumni.  Smartly attired in their respective Junior College blazers, they went up on stage, proud to be part of the Anglican High family. 28 staff members also received the MOE Long Service Awards. Special mention to Mdm Tham Lai Yin who dedicated 35 years to the teaching profession and Miss Gerri Wong Kow Eng who contributed 35 years of service. Reverend Ang Soo Sung was presented with the Service to Education Award for his dedicated service and contributions as a member of the School Management Board for the past twenty years.
