Gracing the occasion were honoured guests - our Management Board Chairman, Mr Alden Tan Siang Hin, School Chaplain, Reverend Dr Ivan Ee and East 4 Cluster Superintendent, Mr Justin Pierre. Members of the audience were treated to stunning performances by the Choir and the Chinese Orchestra. The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the awards to deserving students of 2018. 12 teachers received the MOE Long Service Awards and Mdm Tham Lai Yin was featured as a valued member of the staff who retired and was re-employed after 38 years of service.

Gisele Cheong, 4A (2018), AHS Student of the Year 2018:
“I’d like to thank the teachers who have been always encouraging and patient throughout my AHS journey. It was an honour to be awarded AHS student of the Year. It is an even greater honour to be able to experience some of my life’s most beautiful moments in AHS.”

Luke Tan (Teacher):
“I feel a sense of pride when I see my students receiving recognition for the efforts and successes that they have achieved in AHS. It is also a good opportunity to catch up with students who have graduated and find out that what they have gained from us is being put to good use.”
